ANTONIO R. OCAMPO, JR.

Chairman

• He is a seasoned banker with more than 30 years of strong expertise in finance, corporate and investment banking. Most recently, he was the president of ORIX Metro Leasing and Finance Corporation, ORIX Rental Corporation and ORIX Auto Leasing Philippines Corporation.
• He was head of Corporate Banking Group at Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company; and head of Global Network Banking under Corporate & Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank AG.
• Earlier in his career, he held various relationship management roles at Deutsche Bank AG, International Exchange Bank and Equitable PCI Bank.
• He holds a BS Business Management degree from San Beda University.
• He is the current President of First Metro Investment Corporation (FMIC)

MHELVIN F. ABAJON

President / Director / Nominee

• He is currently the President of FirstMetroSec and has over 25 years of experience in brokerage, trust banking, investment management, operations, and research. He has held leadership roles across key areas of brokerage operations, including strategy, product development, client engagement, and compliance.
• He joined FirstMetroSec in 2015 and spent a decade helping lead its transformation into a full-service, multi-channel investment platform. Prior to his appointment as President, he oversaw strategic initiatives focused on digital expansion, investor education, and institutional partnerships.
• Earlier in his career, Mr. Abajon held various roles at the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), where he gained experience in operations, trust banking, investment management, and client servicing across multiple business units. He began his professional journey as a Research Analyst at Keppel Securities Philippines, Inc., and also served as a part-time lecturer at various universities, teaching courses in economics, statistics, mathematics, and business.
• He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines in 1999. He completed his Master of Arts in Economics at UP in 2002.

JOSE ANTONIO VASCO

Director

• He holds the position of Senior Vice President – Head, Operations Group of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (MBTC) from May 2023.
• He was Division Head of MBTC’s Treasury Operations Support from January 2012 to May 2023.
• Prior to joining Metrobank, he was with Standard Chartered Bank for 15 years holding various positions with the latest as Vice President, Head of Financial Markets Operations from October 2005 to June 2009.
• He also held several positions at Deutsche Knowledge Services from 2009 – 2011.
• He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Business Managements in 1990 and with units in Masters Business Administration in 1994 from De La Salle University.

ERWIN G. TAN

Independent Director

• He is an incumbent independent director of FMSec. He is currently the President of Pro Oil Corporation and Vice President of Proline Sports Center Inc.

• He has 14 years of experience in the securities / trading industry. He started as a Senior Analyst in 1989 at DMT/Dharmala Securities then rose up the ranks as Research Manager of Pryce Securities, Inc. He was also Vice President for Research at Abacus Securities Corporation, and Executive Vice President for Research / Director at Securities 2000, Inc.

• He completed his Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1989.

LUIS JUAN B. ORETA

Independent Director

• He is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a Life Member of the Financial Executives Institute (FINEX).
• He currently serves as Independent Director of First Metro Investment Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Board of Quezon Memorial Academy, and National Commander of the U.P. Vanguard, Inc.
• He held several key positions at Ayala Corporation from March 1997 to October 2018. He was seconded to Manila Water Company Inc. as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer from January 2009 to October 2018. He was also the Interim Chief Finance Officer of Integrated Microelectronics, Inc. (IMI) from July 2008 to December 2008. He was also the Managing Director assigned to the Strategic Planning Group of Ayala Corporation from March 1997 to June 2008.
• He started his career with the Ayala group at the Bank of the Philippines Islands from October1983 to March 1997. Prior to that he was a management consultant at Boone, Young & Associates from September 1982 to June 1983. Mr. Oreta was a Financial Analyst of Insular Bank of Asia & America from June 1978 to May 1980.
• He completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics at the University of the Philippines in October 1977 and obtained his MBA in Finance: Concentration in Investment Analysis from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Management.
